Touristic atractions – Golejewko
Palace – Golejewko Stud is put in medieval palace complex, in which composition enters: palace from 1848 enclosed moat, tower, antique stable buildings and six-hectare landscape park.
Tower - In medieval tower which as the only one survived intact state is places reward room. There is house to trophies sole rich so, where are collected all souvenirs related with races, won by horses from Golejewko in chases, and collected from 1953 untill today. On top of the tower Adam Choiński, contemporary owner placed golden semi – moon won in a batlle over Chocim in 1620. In built on plan of square tower, except reward room are contained Stud offices and intimate fireplace hall and hunting hall. Viewing terrace is placed at copula.
Carriage – house – there is also accessible to visiting carriage hause with collection some tens break, carriages and sledges. It consists from personal vehicles about different value and destination. It is possible to observe economic vehicles here, (biskupiński barrow from XIX century), strolling vehicles (walking), sporting vehicles, hunting vehicles and typically representative served to being showed or to carried in last century important personalities. Very impressive is also sledge collection, with petersburski sledge at the head, which are used for today.
Park behind the palace is placed beatifull six hectare park mentioned in 1736 which has status of landscape. This XVIII century Italian eternal garden, bears trails regular planning with trees about district 660 cm, which is called “Avenue of deserved horses”. There is sole this type in the world avenue commemorating prominent horses bred in Golejewko Stud. From initiative of contemporary growner – Mrs. Dr Maria Świdzińska, were delivere from fields 26 boulders, which were placed for both sides of the avenue, between lime – trees. Boulders at the right side are devoted to the most precious stud – horses from Golejewko, and at the left to the mares – femine family initiators.
Parish church - trown up in neobaroque style under invocation All Holy (indulgence 01.11 and 19.03. – Saint Joseph), built in 1900-1903 according to project of an architect Stanisław Charaszkiewicz from Poniec on place of old sacral building trown up from Choiński Foundation. Inside of church is very interesting polychrome Antoni’ s Pracajłowicz from 1910 and precious endowment of interior from XVI to XVIII century. There are interesting antique gravestone plate from sandstone: Wojciech Choiński’s, Hellen from Konar Choiński’s, Jadwida from Dzierżanowski Choiński’s. Presbytery stands beside church from half of XIX century. According to aged tradition church in Golejewko is enclosed by cemetery with put in central point monument towards honor of 128 I world war victims and Wielkopolska’s revolt. There is grave of 17 victims shot up by nazis from nerest Podborowo in October 1939.
